Artist's Description

I captured this reflection of the Chain Bridge in Budapest in the dirty window of an vintage cast-iron Danube River meter from the 1950's. A few of these relics remain on the banks of the Danube, and once housed a rotating river flow drum chart. Now they are relics that most people do not even know what they were for. People walk by and peer inside, most not even noticing the wonderful reflection the dirty glass makes of the opposite side of the river.
