M-42 The Orion Nebula is an area in the Constellation Orion where news stars are being formed. This was a single 30 minute exposure on Fuji Provia 400X slide film. The lens was a Meade 800mm F/5 Schmidt Newtonian telescope on a German equatorial mount. The camera was an Olympus OM-1 35mm film camera.
Peter enjoys finding new places to explore and to capturing both the beauty and the feeling of the places he explores. His art has graced the halls of American Embassies around the world, airports and businesses. He continues to travel the world with his very patient wife Megan at his side.
