This young Mountain Gorilla was taking a short break from eating and moving, which is something they do quite a bit of as they forage in the day. This was taken in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest of Southwest Uganda. Mountain Gorillas do not exist in captivity anywhere on Earth, and can only be seen in the wild in Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC.
Peter enjoys finding new places to explore and to capturing both the beauty and the feeling of the places he explores. His art has graced the halls of American Embassies around the world, airports and businesses. He continues to travel the world with his very patient wife Megan at his side.
